Cooking instructions

1. Rinse 1 cup of Jasmine rice under cold running water until the water runs clear.
2. Add the rice and 1.5 cups of water to a saucepan. Bring the water to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat to low and allow the rice to simmer for 9 to 10 minutes.
4. The rice is cooked when all the water has been absorbed.
5. Turn off the heat, leave the lid in place and let the rice rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Fluff it with a fork.
