Cooking instructions
1.
Place 1.5 lbs of small potatoes in a microwave-safe covered container. Make sure all the potatoes are approximately the same size.

Cover the potatoes with water. If you have a smaller container, cook the potatoes in batches.
3.
Cook the potatoes for 5 minutes on high setting. To check if the potatoes are done and soft inside, pierce the skin with a sharp knife.
4.
If needed, cook the potatoes for a further 30 second intervals until done.
5.
Remove the potatoes from the microwave. Add some butter or margarine. For the perfect look, add some chives or green onion.
