Cooking instructions

1. Put a 3 to 4 lbs corned beef brisket in a large pot and cover it completely with water.
2. Add 2 tbs of pickling spice, a few whole garlic cloves, a chopped onion and a carrot.
3. Bring everything to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
4. Add 1.5 lbs of baby potatoes 30 minutes before the end of cooking time.
5. Take the beef brisket out of the broth, drain the vegetables and serve.
